Jeff Meeker
Head Coach

Jeff Meeker, the 2004 Iowa Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year, is in his seventh year at Cornell after two successful stints coaching in the NAIA ranks. Meeker, a graduate of Mount Vernon (Iowa) High School, received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Knox College. He received a master’s degree in sport psychology from the University of Iowa.

In 1993-94, Meeker was a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Iowa volleyball team. From 1995
to 1998 he coached at Iowa Wesleyan; taking the Tigers from nine wins in 1995 to 20 wins in 1998. Meeker was named Midwest Classic Conference Coach of the Year in 1997. From 1999 to 2002 Meeker was an assistant men’s volleyball coach at St. Ambrose.

Meeker has conducted camps throughout Iowa and Illinois over the past 15 years. In July of 2008 he coached the Iowa Region High Performance team to a 4th place finished at the USA Volleyball HP Tournament in Tucson, AZ. He will be taking the Iowa High Performance team to Fort Lauderdale this July.

Katie Green
Assistant Coach (1st year)

Katie GreenGreen begins her first season as an assistant on Cornell's volleyball staff.

Green is also in her fifth season as women's basketball assistant and second year as recruiting coordinator at Cornell.

Green is a 1996 graduate of DeWitt Central (Iowa) High School, where she participated in volleyball, basketball and track. Green received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English from Luther in 2000. With Green as a four-year starter in basketball, the Norse won the 1998 Iowa Conference championship and twice advanced to the NCAA Tournament. After graduating, she remained at Luther as an assistant volleyball and basketball coach from 2000-03, helping to coach the basketball Norse to another IIAC title in 2001-02. Green, who resides in Coralville, received a master’s degree in sports psychology from the University of Iowa in 2005.

Marc Neef
Assistant Coach (1st year)

NeefNeef, a 2008 graduate of Spokane (Mo.) High School, is a Cornell freshman who will play basketball for the Rams.

Neef was a student assistant volleyball coach for four years at Spokane and also has experience coaching club volleyball. He earned first team all-state basketball honors and ranks sixth in Missouri high school history with 345 career 3-point field goals made. Also an academic all-state performer, Neef helped lead his high school team to a third-place finish at the state basketball tournament during his junior season.

Neef plans to major in business at Cornell.
